Deep within the depths of my old beloved laptop (named Alfie the MacBook Air, incase you were wondering) I have finally found... my dissertation. Dun, dun DUNNN.
Since sixth form, I have always had a massive interest in how we communicate with one another, and how this communication has changed over time with technological developments. It was something I really wanted to delve into more while I was at university, and with Graphic Design being my degree (and at Falmouth being a degree focusing on communication) I thought it was a great time to explore it.
The idea that we what we write, where we write it, and how we communicate depending on who we are speaking to and the purpose of speaking is incredibly interesting, and having a re-read of my dissertation brings back the many hours spent scouring over books, having 121's with tutors, scribbling down notes, and trying to write a bibliography (emphasis on the trying!)
I'll pop a link to my diss here if you'd like to take a read. Please feel free to pop me an email if you'd like to discuss it more, I'm always happy to chat more about it!
